THE LEGENDARY 4-NIKATORS were originally formed in 1958 with the intention of playing 60’s, 70’s and Motown music.  Since it hadn’t been written yet, they had to wait until 1979 to have their first practice session.  The band is also honored to play 50’s music if requested.  The key is: “Can you dance to it?”

The six musicians have been on a twenty-year extended world tour but still take time to perform for parties, concerts and weddings in the Northern Hemisphere.

Speaking of nuptials, THE LEGENDARY 4-NIKATORS have played weddings in such famous and exclusive places as New York City, New Orleans, Chicago, Sun Valley and Niwot.  However, due to their deeply held spiritual convictions, they will never, ever play the Macarena or the Chicken Dance.

The band has performed at such diverse Colorado venues as McNichols Arena, Fillmore Auditorium, Fiddler’s Green, Folsom Stadium, Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium, Coors Field, The Gerald Ford Amphitheater and was the host band for the 1989 and 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships in Vail, as well as the 1990 World Disabled Ski Championships.

THE LEGENDARY 4-NIKATORS have also been fortunate to have played all over the United States, sharing the stage with Jay Leno, Little Richard, The Village People, The Beach Boys, The Isley Brothers, Earth Wind and Fire, Bette Midler, Elton John and many others.  At one Chicago party featuring James Brown and Aretha Franklin, the band was introduced as “America’s Number One Party Band,” so it was only natural that they were chosen to play for Jose Cuervo’s 200th Anniversary in Tequila, Mexico.

Take a look around the site and experience some of the dynamic, non-stop entertainment THE LEGENDARY 4-NIKATORS are famous for.  Then book them for your next event.  The dancing and partying will go on all night long!
